Back in the XP days you could see the fragmentation level since then Microsoft has decided to do away with the graphic representation.

Windows now has the ability to "self" defrag at night if your computer is left on.  If you like to know what your getting or if you want a better job of defragmenting try one of the defragmenter programs out there here are a few.
